How subagents work
When a task has independent sub-tasks, like creating materials, UI, or documentation, your main agent will auto-delegate them to subagents instead of doing them one at a time. Each subagent will appear as a block in the main thread.- Click a subagent block to open its thread and see exactly what it did
- Click

Full-tool worker with access to all the same capabilities the main agent does. It’s used to run independent subtasks simultaneously. It can change the project and works best in
Agent Mode. It will be blocked from making changes if you prompt in Ask Mode.Custom Subagents
Custom subagents are specialists you define, such as a shader agent, a UI agent, or a QA agent. You set the subagent’s name, when it should be used, which models it runs on, and how it behaves. Once saved, your main agent calls it when a subtask matches the description or when you mention it by name. How to create custom subagents
There are three ways to create a custom subagent:1. Define manually
- Go to
Settings>Subagents - Select
Define manually - Fill in the Subagent fields (defined below)

- Name: Must be kebab-case, like
ui-builder. This is the name you mention to call the subagent. - Description: When to use this subagent and which tasks the main agent should send it. Bezi reads the description to decide when to call the subagent, so be specific.
- Model IDs: The models this subagent is allowed to run on. Select at least one, or select all of them.
Inherit from threadruns the subagent on the same model as the main thread.- If >1 model (or

2. Create with Bezi

- Locate the existing Markdown file you want to turn into a subagent
- Start a new thread
- Add the file to the thread and prompt Bezi to create a subagent from it
